The word is out...

We were able to visit Brisas Del Paraiso and La Vegona the first week of August. By the grace of God everything went well and the children send their love.

Delivering groceries to Brisas has proven to be a little challenging. Groceries are purchased by bulk in the city, then taken to a town about 2 hours way. There a local volunteer using a 4x4 vehicle takes the groceries to a village where access is limited. Once there, a horse and a mule are ready to finish the rest of the climb. Fortunately, God has placed dedicated men and women who are eager to help and do their part in HIS vineyard.

Word about the eating area in Brisas has been spreading. We've learned that there are children coming from another community located an hour away just to get a meal.

While at Brisas, we met Jakelinne. She is a sweet, 8 year old who has a problem that may be related to her blood. As a result, her eyes, lips, and fingernails have turned black or dark blue. She has poor blood circulation causing her to breathe heavily and get tired after taking only a few steps.

We prayed for Jakelinne and are well aware of God's power. We have placed this situation in His hands and we ask you to keep her in your prayers as well.

We want to find a way to bring Jakelinne and her family to see a doctor, provide medicine and anything she needs to improve her health.

We had to leave in a hurry since rain was approaching. Rain can cause flash flood on the creeks we needed to cross. Since there is not a way to turn around and nearly impossible to travel in reverse, getting stranded was something we wanted to avoid at all cost. Fortunately, our driver was well familiar with the area and its roads and were able to descend quickly and without incident.

In La Vegona, we were able to surprise the kids with cake and drinks. Our time there was full of joyful conversation.

Pastor Alejandro has recruited a good group of powerful and faithful women to help prepare meals and care for these children.

It never ceases to amaze me how God works and how He provides. He truly has a hand on this project and we are grateful to be a part of it. We are exited to see what else He has in store.

All vehicles, horses, and mules shown in the videos or pictures were loaned to us. We are believing in God that He will supply ALL of our needs. Owing a 4x4 vehicle is an immediate need we have. If you want to be a part of this blessing, please click HERE.

We are thankful for all of you who have donated to make this project a reality.

If you haven't already, please consider becoming a monthly supporter.

Remember: you are lending to the Lord, and He repays!

Proverbs 19:17 (exclamation point added for emphasis )

There's so much to be done. Together, with God's blessings, we will continue to make a difference in their lives.
